The Greater Hartford Women's Conference was created by an organizing committee of Hartford area women working in conjunction with the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce.

The committee, acting on a brainstorm from South Windsor businesswoman Mona Lee, consists of 20 women from all walks of life, who want to help women "take the next step" toward health, happiness, business and wealth.
